About Us

The Swan's Nest is situated on the A379 Exeter to Dawlish road. Just on the edge of Exminster Marshes, which is currently managed by the RSPB as a wildlife reserve, thus, offering a tranquil setting for one of the areas most well known restaurants.

Initially established in 1876 as “The Station Inn” the Swan's Nest has developed over the years to become one of the most visited eating houses in the south west such is its reputation for good food and service.

In November 2003 our Carvery was voted by The Devon Social Group as the Best Carvery in the region gaining over a thousand votes! This justifies the hard work that goes into the daily preparation for our help yourself carvery with, Roast Beef, Lamb, Turkey, Rotisserie Chicken, Gammon and Pork. We also use fresh local produce when ever possible, ensuring our customers get the best quality available.
